Green tea is rich in antioxidants, including polyphenols. They effectively deal with the harmful effects of free radicals and can gradually reduce blood cholesterol levels. Together with its well-known antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, a wound-healing effect has been shown in fibroblast cells, involving complex pathophysiological processes such as inflammation, angiogenesis and collagen deposition.


Contrary to younger teas; white and green, the black variety is the most mature. This is due to the higher concentration of tannin and longer oxidation time during the drying and fermentation process. Black tea has been used in skin care for hundreds of years, beginning in the Chinese Ming Dynasty. Black tea contains antioxidants that help protect the skin from UV rays and environmental pollutants. Moreover, the higher caffeine content means it is an excellent ingredient to improve the tone and firmness of the skin. It is rich in polyphenols and flavonoids and helps the skin regenerate faster.

Fermented Pomegranate Extract

Salicylic acid belongs to the group of beta-hydroxy acids (BHA). It is a naturally occurring acid. As the only representative of the BHA group, it has found application in cosmetology and dermatology. Salicylic acid is an exfoliating ingredient obtained from willow bark, rosewood, raspberries, senna and birch leaves, chamomile flowers, poplar bark and essential oils, and synthetically from phenol.
