Masks are cosmetics that are not necessary in the daily care routine, but they are really worth using, because thanks to the formulas concentrated on active ingredients, they help not only with various skin problems, but also provide an additional dose of hydration. Masks have recently become very popular thanks to Korean care, in which the use of these cosmetics is a key element. Currently, you can find masks in all forms on the market, from those made of clay that you have to mix yourself, through masks in gel, cream and peel-off, to sheet masks. In addition, you can also make a face mask yourself at home using products available in every kitchen.
How to use a face mask?
Depending on the composition and formula of the mask, we can use it every day or once in a while, depending on the individual needs of the skin . Moisturizing, nourishing and soothing cosmetics can be used every day. However, masks, e.g. with acids, which are designed to exfoliate dead skin cells or lighten discolorations, need to be applied less often - 2-3 times a week. Masks are usually applied during night care on cleansed skin. There are preparations that work in a few minutes, but also such as an overnight mask, which we wash off only in the morning. Apply sheet masks for 15-20 minutes, and then massage the remaining cream into the face.
